Shivaun was born and bred in Whakatane, where she attended Trident High School.

She has been with Gowing & Co Lawyers Limited for almost seven years and during her time with the firm has completed her Diploma in Legal Executive Studies.

^{Shivaun was previously sole legal secretary to Director & Principal Roger Gowing. Shivaun has proven herself more than capable of meeting any challenges that arise from being the secretary for one of the more experienced lawyers in the Eastern Bay of Plenty and now administratively assists all lawyers in the firm on a daily basis.}

Shivaun is widely respected by the Gowing & Co Team for both her sunny nature and positive attitude and is an integral fixture in the firm that her author could not do without!
